CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS ANALYST
The URUS Management Trainee Program challenges young professionals to accelerate their leadership capacity while creating long-lasting value for the organization. This program continually impacts my professional development by pushing me to think strategically, adapt through agility, and communicate effectively. In addition, it has allowed me to work with global innovators to meet the current and future needs of the worldwide beef and dairy industries.
Corporate Finance and M&A Analyst
For me the best part of the Management Trainee program is the level of access we have to senior leadership. For an organization this large it is really impressive that I have the ability to walk into the office of the CFO and get guidance and direction on my projects. As somebody with significant work experience prior to the program, this is exactly what I came to URUS for. This program gives me the opportunity to work on a variety of tangible, valuable projects for URUS. These projects span the breadth of the organization, giving me exposure to VAS, GENEX, PEAK, Alta and URUS leadership. Each project is different from the next, keeping the work engaging, while teaching me different skills and best practices.
VAS Strategy Analyst
The URUS Management Trainee program offers a unique experience to learn from executive leaders within our organization. In addition, the frontline experience keeps me closely connected to the farmer and core business. Being a family business at heart with a partially farmer owned cooperative structure provides a dynamic learning environment with opportunities reaching across the globe.
Being a URUS Management Trainee has allowed me to grow as a leader while also making an impact on URUS and its companies through my project rotations. By working within URUS, I have the opportunity to work with multiple companies at the top of our industry, which is an experience unique to URUS. This program focuses on developing leaders, not just finding employees. Through ongoing trainings and individual mentorship from senior leaders and executives I will be prepared to take on a larger role within URUS upon completion of this program.
Company Culture Strategist
Trainees work directly with senior level management and receive guidance from executive leadership while working on high impact projects. The goal of program leadership to place Trainees in a variety of relevant rotations is combined with their commitment to develop future leaders. For me, this program is a fantastic merger of exposure and challenge within some of the most innovative companies in the industry.
